Frequently Asked Questions

What does it cost?

We have a range of payment options for patients to consider once their care is underway, such as a concession payment or paying per visit. Prices are also dependent on whether you are a student or an adult or are bringing a child in.

How long does it take?

For your initial consultation and examination you need to allow up to 45 minutes. This allows enough time to fill out any required paperwork and gives our chiropractors adequate time to be able to answer your questions and perform your examination.

Does it hurt?

Our Chiropractors use a range of techniques suited to your body and symptoms to help make your adjustment more comfortable.

Do I need to see my GP before making an appointment?

Chiropractors are Primary Heath care practitioners. This means you can make an appointment straight away with no prior referral.

Can I bring my children with me to my appointment?

Yes! At least 40% of our patients are kids, so we have plenty of toys, books and colouring pages to keep them entertained whilst you attend your appointment.

How old does a child need to be before they can have Chiropractic care?

Children can be checked right from birth. This is particularly important if forceps or ventouse have been used or a caesarian has been performed.

Is Chiropractic covered by ACC?

Yes, all of our Chiropractors are ACC registered. We can provide you with the paperwork to complete when you come in for your appointment.

Will I need an x-ray?

After your examination your Chiropractor will advise you if x-rays are necessary or not. This recommendation will be based on your examination findings. If your initial examination is at our Papakura clinic, we can perform these for you at your initial examination time. If it is in Pukekohe, we can organize a convenient time for you to have these taken at our Papakura clinic.

Can you have Chiropractic care if you are pregnant?

Chiropractic care during pregnancy is important as it helps to prepare the body for a good pregnancy and birth. There are a range of techniques and positions that we can adjust you with to make it as comfortable as possible for you. X-Rays will not be performed if you are pregnant.

Where do I park?

Both of our clinics have public parking conveniently located close to the premise. Please ask our staff about time limitations if concerned.
